WBENC 15th Annual National Conference & Business Fair
May 1, 2014The 15th Annual Women's Business Enterprise National Council’s (WBENC) National Conference & Business Fair was held on June 23-25 in Philadelphia, PA. WBE members and Sustaining (Corporate) Members from across the country attended the event.
The MMSDC is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the economic growth of minority owned businesses. The MMSDC Board consists of executives from General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Comerica Bank, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Each year the MMSDC honors companies and individuals that have shown a commitment to supplier diversity. This year Mr. Burnley had the honor and privilege of being a Diamond Award Nominee. The Award is given to an individual who has shown a personal commitment and dedication to the betterment of their communities and other minority owned business.
Mr. Burnley acknowledged that the continued hard work and dedication of DFM’s employees, is the foundation of our success, not only for this nomination but for the continued success of our organization.
WBENC is dedicated to advancing the success of Corporate Members, certified women's business enterprises (WBEs), and government entities in partnership with its Regional Partner Organizations (RPOs).
Belinda M. Cunningham, Director of Human Resources for DFM, volunteered at this years annual conference. As a volunteer, she assisted with participant registration, event coordination and set-up and assisting participants where needed.
Belinda, actively participates in annual events to support and contribute to the mission of Women-owned businesses throughout the country.
